This old Monogram kit was a real blast form the past to build. I love the trinkets that were kit supplied which included all that cool surf gear and even an alligator.
This Roadster pickup called "Blue Beetle" was released twice , once in a dark blue which was the 1st issue (this kit) and once in a lighter blue in the late 60's.
I had to leave this kit box stock!
I reworked the decals via my ALPS MD-5000 to replace the original cracked , unusable originals.
