This is a resin 1960 Dodge Phoenix. I saw one on the contest table at MASSCar one year and had to have it. Luckily R&R Vacuumcraft was set-up down stairs in the vendor area. I decided to experiment with  ghost flames. The paint is Testors "Black and Blue" pearl.

I laid down a base of silver. Then I masked the flames and laid two coats of the color coat. I peeled off the mask and laid two more color coats. I think my experiment worked. The flames are very subtle in everyday light. I experimented with a splatter pattern on the seats but couldn't get the pics to come out.

The wheels and tires are from the Sidewinder pickup kit. The kit is a curbside as it was just a big paint experiment.
