BEACH BOMB by ROB RILEY
Johan re-issue of the 59 rambler wagon. I cut a hole in the hood, and glued a piece of sheet styrene painted flat black to the underside. I glued on a parts box blower, blower drive, and shot-gun scoop. this is a promo type kit, with no engine in it, and I thought a big blower would look cool. the fender well headers are from a Tom Daniel snapper "super taxi". wheels are cragars, rear slicks are Goodyear blue streaks. paint is testors lime gold metal-flake, with testors clear lacquer over it. the wood grain side trim decals came with the kit, as did the rear license plate, and surf shop decals in the rear window. the dash, seat inserts and steering wheel are painted body color, and the rest of the interior is flat black. I added 2 chrome moon tanks to the rear of the interior, one on each side of the tailgate. the surfboards were also kit supplied, as were the surfboard decals.
