The Monster Hearse is finally done, Ghostbusters meets Roth meets Frankenstein, my 2nd real kit bash. With a little help from my FRIENDS in this group, I was able to pull something off I could be proud of. A cartoon type piece, originally called the Haulin' Hearse, then later dubbed Mikey's Monster Hearse by Tim.  I went out and picked up a special saw to chop the top and I cut right through my thumb nail and I didn't even know it I was so excited.

Also picked up a Muscle Machines 1/18 scale Hot Rod for the Monster Engine. (by the way, if anyone has an extra engine like this laying around let me know).  Painted in Testors Sub-Lime Green and waxed twice with The Treatment Final Detail.  The Mickey Thompsons and Chrome Rims are from the 41 Willy's Kit. The flames are Slixx decals and the side pipes are made out of aluminum tubing.  The BMF is Model Master, and I must say a b!tch to do.

Mothers Worry is sporting a Top Hat and Walking Stick shifter (like a mortician) while Frankenstein, shovel in hand, is wearing a leather studded motorcycle Jacket, Real blue jeans and simulated motorcycle boots.  His Maltese Cross is made out of one of my business cards and a key chain.

The Bone Diggers are Ripping through the gate of a shadowy Graveyard poppin' a wheelie through the low rolling fog.  A flat black Styrofoam base is holding a rough iron fence that is made out of toothpicks.  The Headstones are made out of Balsam wood and the trees are real.  The fog is made out of a cotton Christmas blanket.  This project was made to fit inside a 10 gallon fish tank for display.
