SELF PORTRAIT IN FINK by Tim Nolan

This started out life as a "serious" 1:16 scale 34' Ford coupe from Revell. I did this when I was in the planning stages for my 1:1 coupe, but I decided to do a Deuce instead, so this went out the window. (It is however painted the color of my real car..)

This scale is hard to find swap-parts for, I had bought some milled rims, and played around with some Revell large scale funny car tires, but it still didn't suit me....When this contest started several months back, I was digging around wanting to make something different in the way of a monster, and this sprang to mind!

I had some way-old Revell 1/8 scale trike slicks and rims, then I dug out some slot vintage metal slot car rims and tires for the front, and the rims matched great!! I shot them with Alclad and they shined right up! The motor is basically kit stock, and I chopped up the grille cowl and headlight mounts a bit to suit me.
