Jonas took a vow to uphold the tradition of the Amish
belief. . .and was very happy! Until he hit his early
twenties when he caught a glimpse of The Grand
Nationals on a TV set in a store's window. 

The explosive power and speed was his downfall. . . .
he could not stop thinking about the comparison of
the modern conveniences of horse power compared to his
Father's buggy. He was in an evil spell. . . his whole
soul was enchanted with the thought of more power. . .
more speed. . . especially when working in the fields.

Jonas could not take the ridicule and embarrassment of
his father's one horse buggy anymore! One hose power?
? ? All the other youth would make fun of his rig as
the old lame pony stumbled down the country roads. It
was the slowest horse in town. That sucked! His heart
started to distort and change. Everyone knew something
was wrong.

He couldn't take it anymore . . .and snapped. . . he
knew his actions could alter his life forever. . . but
it would be worth it for the speed! HE NEEDED MORE
SPEED . . . MORE POWER! ! ! HE WENT MAD. .. TRUELY
AMISH MAD . . . and was given a nick name. . . THE
MAD HATTER. . . because he would wear his hat
backwards and at an angle like the "homeboys" he read
about in the social study classes. he knew his actions
would shun him from the society. . .but he had to have
the speed. . . 

So he took his daddy's old buggy behind the barn and
chopped it and painted it a gloss metal-flake black
from a rattle can. . . and polished it out. He took up
welding and used an old McDonalds Top Fuel Dragster. .
. . and he altered the chassis and added a second
engine. . .MORE POWER! 

Because you can take the boy out of Amish country . .
. but you can't take the Amish out of the boy! So he
had to replicate the old lame pinto horse that use to
pull his father's buggy. . . .so he found an old rare
TD Pinto dragster body to represent the horse. . . but
this ain't your daddy's horse power under the hood. .
. .he cut it from nose to tail and narrowed it to fit
the chassis and bondoed the rear wheel wells . . . and
he was ready for paint! 

He was running out of money fast. . and he had to go
out and get corporate sponsors. . and they asked in
return. . .if Jonas would put a company sticker on his
buggy! ! ! ! ! A small price to pay for funding this
project! 

The paint is a special mixed brownish auburn color.
and Custom decals. . . HE WAS going WILD with this
build! ! ! ! and His friends, the Melvin Twins, have
never seen anything like it. . . they thought it was a
monster from the pit of Hell. . . and they sneaked
around and got as close as they could. . . . to try to
figure out what it was. even after seeing it. .they
couldn't figure it out. . .and when Jonas emerged from
the cock-pit in his fire suit. . . the twins screamed
like little school girls and ran away. . . . Jonas
just laughed uncontrollably.

The car was almost done. . . but there was one thing
missing. . . the reflective triangle on the back. . . TRADITION! ! ! ! ! 

A new TRADITION. . . . AMISH GONE WILD! ! ! ! !
