I chose the Aluma-Coupe as it's one of the lesser seen builds from The 
Showroom - that and the fact that I'd just seen the Aluma-Tub being 
built on American Hotrod when I was planning the build. The kit is the 
Testors Quick Builder one; I really wanted the full detail kit but 
couldn't find it at the time. I finished the build with aluminum Alclad 
rather than the traditional Aluma Yellow colour, as the other two builds 
by Boyd in the 'Aluma' series were bare metal and I thought it'd be cool 
to see this one built like the other two. If anyone studies the 
pictures carefully enough they'll see a little 'joke' in this build too ;-)
