Arguably the most famous show car of all time............

There seems to be no "in between" with this. People either love it or hate it. In the model world though, it was the first "real" show rod ever put into kit form. So it's a significant piece of history.

The original AMT kit was kitted and released over and over in many forms over the years, but it was a master builder who could get it to this level of detail and accuracy.

This is just incredible..

Another contract job by Barris in 1957, this is painted in a beautiful bouquet of pearls

Unlike the "new tool" kit by AMT/rc2, the nose and engine are incredibly accurate on this die cast.

a little touch of reality...
Overall impression: Just buy it!
