Retro Hobby /MPC Trikes forks

Those pesky 2 piece bodies on the Taco Trike, Mailbox Chopper, Milk Trike and Tiki Trike can make it tricky to finish up without a seam where the forks pass through the body so I came up with this solution for mine. 

After assembling and painting the body as 1 piece, I cut the handlebar / fork assembly roughly at the mid point where it passes through the neck.

I cut a piece of aluminum tubing that would fit in the neck of the body.

after sliding the aluminum tube into the body, I assembled the handlebars into the top

and the fork assembly from the bottom

That's it!
