I think this is the 2nd variation of this, the first was the 1972 Whipple & McCulloch original.

However, when one opened the box, the body was the original kit with new decals.

The problem with that was by the time this variation came along, instead of the smooth cowl / windshield area, the 1:1 version of this had a big hole for the blower, so, out came the dremel.

This is where I started getting picky about the worn quality of some of the parts in these 25+ year old tools... especially the miniscule steering components. So I started experimenting with aluminum and brass stock to replace the steering components and wheelie bars.

Also scratch built a non upholstered seat. lift off wheel? or lost butterfly....
