This was built between Christmas and New Years Eve 2006, so its the very last model I built in 2006.

This started out as the 80's (red) release.

Like the Anglia, which shares the same frame, this sat too close to thetires for my taste, so the body has a 'lift' built from Evergreen strip styrene

I also felt the front wheels were too far pushed back, so I added an extension to the very front of the frame and moved the springs forward to center them in the wheel wells.

The 409 engine, 2 speed powerglide and seats are from the Revell 54 Chevy Sedan Delivery..

Push Bar from the Revell (new tool) street rod Willys. The blue dots are from some guy who was making them in 2001 and offering them for sale on the MCL

No surprise here with the paint. Cobra Colors lacquer is all I shoot! The cut from sheet plastic windshield/rear window are held in place and tinted with Ira Dahm's window tint. (by cutting the tint film slightly larger than the windshield, it acts as a press in / hold in place windshield. Cool trick Ira! Thanks!

All in all, I recommend this kit be built with it's opening doors glued shut (as they are here) as the hinges are getting tired with age.
