This was an experiment mating a 1320 Funny Car chassis to the Revell 1999 Blue Max

I purchased a few of these chassis from a seller on Ebay for  about $25 each with intention of cutting down some building time and using some of the Slixx decals I've been buying for years.

Ironically, not that much time was actually saved as a bit of arm chair engineering on the fly was needed to mate the body to the chassis.

I have a few criticisms about the chassis. For one, Good year yellow lettering wasn't in effect when these cars were in their hey day. And the rear wheels are oddly oversized. Then there's those clunky wheelie bars.

The body on the Revell Blue Max is wild. Almost too wild, but accurate for this car.

The black paint on this is simply black primer covered with clear coat.
