I didn't know these kits were ever produced by Aurora back in the 60's. Which is a little embarrassing, being an avid Beatle fan and a model kit builder. Thankfully, Polar Lights knew and reproduced them under license from Subafilms LTD in 1999.

And this was actually the first time my wife Carol and I collaborated
on a project. She did the detail painting on all the group.
These are painted with just about every medium available. The
bases are metallic green/blue with metal flakes mixed in.

A little treat is each figure has a normal cartoon head, and a disguise cartoon head. (you'll have to watch the movie)

These are really cool, and a terrific addition to any Beatle fans collection of memorabilia.

Think I'll pop the movie in the DVD player and journey through the Sea of Holes.
