During an email conversation with Pat Covert, the subject of "favorite models" came up and he mentioned the Revell 29 Ford pick up was near the top of his list.
With my curiosity up, the next time I saw one in a local hobby shop, I bought it and decided to build it stock.
I decided to try my hand at building a wood bed, the chains are from some old jewelry my wife had.
Because it was being built stock, I didn't buff or polish the paint. Looks more real to me this way.
The engine is wired, and the white wall tires were stolen from the AMT 34 Ford 5 window coupe.
