I got this early issue 1939/40 Ford Tudor kit built and suffering from rattle can paint orange peel.
The owner had built it to replicate his father's car.
So I stripped the paint, smoothed out the body, removed the side trim and laid down 14 coats of Cobra Color's Ultra Black lacquer over black dupli-color primer, the covered it with 3 coats of Cobra Color's clear lacquer.
I'm not sure about the combination of the grille and headlights, but, that's the way I got it.
I need to build one of these for myself.
